All my worries were put to rest instantly. I had previously played and enjoyed the FireRed/LeafGreen (FR/LG) games, and these new games are similar in structure (FR/LG being remakes of Red and Green- although Green was Blue in America). My husband and I purchased New Super Mario Bros along with the nintendo dsi for our daughter’s 7th birthday. After needing a little bit of guidance from her daddy and how to get through a certain part of New Super Mario Bros he has completely taken over lol, which is odd because my husband is SOOO NOT a gamer! But here I am, by request, to buy him his very own copy so he and my daughter will have their own and no one misses out on game play. By far the best ds game we have ever purchased!

I really enjoy playing Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel. It is a game that you can play over and over and it never gets boring. Excellent graphics and you can play online and race against friends or anyone. Anyone could win the race. You could be in first for 2 laps and all of a sudden you get zapped or powwed or fall off the track and you are back to last place or visa versa. Great game.

The story starts off very slow in my opinion. Much slower than other RPG’s. I put Glory of Heracles game down several times the first several hours I played as I found it hard to maintain my interest. This knocks it down a notch from 5 stars for me–because that first character just cannot sustain the story himself. Even with the addition of Leucos it is hard to be motivated by story when you first play. I would advise to stick with it as it does get better as more characters are added and you encounter more characters. Some stay with you a while and others are there for their own little segment and will soon go away. I found the two that join you on ship towards the beginning of Glory of Heracles game to be very funny–I enjoyed thier dialogue.
