Bought this because it takes batteries and 720p (I’m tired of lithium batteries.) It is fast and makes a good video in bright light. No digital zoom, except. No optical stabilization – only digital. If the light changes, the iris’ changes are sudden and noticeable in the finished video. Controls are confusing, but gives you plenty of choice. No way to plug in microphones, you’re down with the microphone on the camera to pick up any hand tremor. Battery life (4 AAAS) is approximately two hours before he stops. Software is very confusing and limited. On a PC you can burn AVCHD DVDs which play in some BluRay – that’s nice. If you want video files and save them for editing software other than that, you will work hard to find ways to convert them. Basically a box camera HD video shooting, but requires some effort to prepare to edit. For the price, I am satisfied. (Does not include software for the Mac.)

We just bought this crib to replace our drop side crib for baby number 2 (due in 26 days). This crib is fantastic…incredible quality for the price, looks really nice in the nursery, is sturdy. It only took us about an hour to put together and that was with our toddlers “help”. I’m 5′1″ and it’s the perfect height for me (something I was worried about when buying a stationary side crib). I won’t have a problem getting the baby no matter what mattress height it’s at (has 3 heights). My husband is 5′10″ and the shorter height doesn’t seem to bother him either. He loves it. Also, it doesn’t look strange like I thought it would. I thought it would look odd because it’s shorter than a standard crib…it doesn’t at all. It’s very sleek and doesn’t seem too short. Both my husband and I really wished we would’ve had this crib for our first child. I would definitely recommend this crib.
